Wow its Tuesday?

Hello Everyone! I hope your weekend went well!  I didn't get a chance to post anything yesterday or Sunday. This bedroom project has kept me busy along with my other grown up responsibilities. My weekend went great, I even stopped by a couple of estate sales and I got the chance to see a beautiful home in Palos Verdes. If your not familiar, let me tell you its a beautiful beach city southwest of Los Angeles. The house had a stunning view and I was able to sneak 3 photos of the view.

I was so fascinated with the house, when I got home I researched the home and found it for sale, which explained the estate sale.

Amazing right? Just one block from the beach, who lives like that? I can only dream! I had the desire to kick everyone out and just move right in lol.

Also here is a SNEAK PEAK of the duvet cover and the material for the cushions.... It was a mission and the first time we attempted to do a Duvet cover .... The Hub is very good at everything, even sewing and I'm good at really nothing but giving direction and orders lol. We're a perfect match.

Fabric Heaven

Happy Saturday Everyone!!!

I hope your weekend is going great! This morning the Hub and I decided to go down to the Fabric District here in Downtown Los Angeles. I'm often here but today I was totally inspired to work on my Bedroom project. I can't emphasize enough for my fascination with pink!. Something about it screams whimsy and relaxing. I started off with an inspiration picture that contained  a soft pale pink. I showed the picture at the bottom of "My Dream Bed", but like with many things with me... a room starts off one way and ends up a completely different way. There was just such a variety of colors, shades and textures that I just loved! After all the searching I narrowed it down and this is what I chose finally!

I know it maybe a little extreme pink to say the least... 

There was such a variety of choices I just couldn't decide.....

As I was walking around I just fell In love with every pattern and color. I was wishing I had a big enough house to fit everything I loved

Bathroom Knockdown

Hey Everyone! Happy Thursday!


If you read my post Renovating our Home you'll know that the house was in need of much love and care! One room in particular was the bathroom... as tiny as it is, it needed  some serious updating. Take a look at what it looked like before. As you may notice that pink is my thing... yes I know strange... well not really lol. I  thought to myself what to do.... It was tiny... I thought to myself well we can expand it, because there is a walk in closet on the other side wall. Then I just said lets leave it as is and replace everything except the tub, we can deal with the size, its not like I want a big bathroom to clean anyways lol.

Now take a look at what we did do...

We kept the original floor, and original tub and everything else was gone! I tried fitting in a bigger pedestal sink but with the space I was working with, it was impossible. I am totally happy with it . Im not much of a bathroom person although I wouldn't complain if I had a huge Dream Bathroom... 

What a difference!!! Yeah I know!

I Just Couldn't Wait!

Hey Everyone!

I hope your day is going GREAT!

I put up my Monday post right at midnight! If you read it, you'll already know that I bought these amazing soft pink chairs and planned to put them in my dinning room. As I said in the last post that my table is being used as my very messy work space! Sooo I woke up this morning and I just couldn't wait! So this is what I did!

I just about died when I uploaded this picture, because I'm so in Love! Check out my new pink salt and pepper shakers!

Makes me want to just throw a dinner party.

I added a little silver for the visual interest lol.... I noticed I got so excited, I forgot to place the flatware...oh well! Last month I went to Pottery Barn and they had these gorgeous plate chargers, but at the time I really didn't need them , so I told my self I would come back for them. Yesterday on our way home I thought it would be a nice touch to add them to the table.... so any who... sadly they didn't have them any longer.

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all had a great weekend! It has been a long weekend but very productive. Saturday we went fabric shopping because we will be working on my bedroom project that I mentioned in "My Dream Bed" post. We even had time squeeze in another flea market trip, They had tons of stuff! but nothing spoke to me. Afterwards we decided to stop by an Estate sale and came across these chairs and after much charm I got a great deal!!! Woohoo!!!!

I plan to use them as headers for my dinning room table, I'll show you guys when I get them settled. Right now I have been using my dinning room table as a work space. I love it because its big and I can spread out my inspirations and other pictures and just work. My office has not been touched, that will be another project that I will bring you along when I get around to it.

Spring is on its way!

I woke to a beautiful day. I see the flowers blooming, the leaves turning green and the birds chirping. So it motivated me to take some pictures. I first started out with putting this together.

As I went outside and I noticed my supertunias in my planters are growing.

My Iceberg roses are coming in so beautiful.

The neighbors bougainvillea's grow so beautifully on my side.

My ficus privacy hedges are 12 months old and are really growing.
